SFS News Recent Updates
  • EFFECTIVE AUGUST 1, 2011, VISA  WILL NO LONGER BE ACCEPTED

Visa regulations prohibit entities from processing payments using a percentage based transaction fee. As the University is embarking on a number of cost cutting measures, including controlling the high cost of credit card fees paid, Visa can no longer be accepted as a payment type by UCLA.

Here are payment options that make paying your bill fast and convenient:

    ·         UCLA now offers the BruinPay Plan (BPP).  This is available to students who would like to establish a per term monthly payment option through their bank account.  The BPP will be available August 1 for Fall semester students, and September 1 for Fall quarter students.  Just log into your BruinBill account, and on the 'My Accounts' page you can check your eligibility status to sign up.

    ·         Pay using the convenient eCheck option, available FREE of charge.  Sign up to pay with eCheck on BruinBill by selecting eCheck as your payment method and then following the instructions to complete the setup. You can also view this brief instructional demonstration on how easy it is to set up eCheck payments. Click here to view the demo

    ·         Pay by credit, using either MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Implementation of a 2.75% percentage based transaction fee will be effective August 1, 2011.
